Dr Zoydbergh was established in Cracow, Poland in 2002. Since the beginning the members are:
Artur Debinski - vocals;
Wojtek Siatkiewicz - drums;
Jacek Bilinski - guitar;
Mariusz Wroblewski - bass;
Wojtek Dmochowski - guitar.
The band has already recorded two self-released demo albums. The first of them was produced in May of 2003 and consists of documentation of Zoydbergh’s first steps in the Polish rock scene. The second, called ‘Saturday Nightmare Fever Show’, was recorded in November of 2004. In March 2004 the band won first prize in the Review of Cracow’s Rock Bands called ‘Stacja Woodstock’ (Woodstock Station). Dr Zoydbergh’s music was also featured on national radio station Programme 3 in Piotr Kosinski’s ‘The Night of Musical Landscapes’. In March 2005 Zoydbergh supported Polish underground rockstars - Guess Why.
The main idea of Dr Zoydbergh is contrast. Contrast which shows us and our audience that the limits in music and art are unstable. Lack of comprehension of this is simply narrow-mindedness. Currently the band has focused on promoting its material by playing as many conerts as possible. We’re interesting in signing a professional contract that would allow us to record a full-length album and promote our music not only in Poland but also in many other countries.
